This Sidney D. Torres, IV development was originally a small outdated condominium building. Carimi was hired to build out the new 6 unit condominium after the building had been completed gutted. This was a full remodel, both inside and out, that started from scratch with structural repair and modification. As we often do, we utilized much of the existing special features and character, such as the massive 10’x12’ arched windows and many original doors in the renovation. Modernizing the structure went beyond just the finishes used and technological advances, but also included the installation of an elevator and a courtyard water feature. This ‘bread and butter’ project and it’s vast scope of work and variety of trades involved was completed in only 18 months.
